Ronnie O’Sullivan will join DCI John Barnaby in Midsomer Murders, the famous British crime drama television series. The new-look duo attempts to rid Midsomer Worthy of crime while the 6-time world snooker champion tries to discover the whereabouts of his cue action in a brand new episode.
Ronnie O’Sullivan follows a number of celebrities outside of the acting profession to make a cameo in the long-running programme. This included model Kelly Brook and American rock singer Suzi Quatro, whose characters were respectively murdered by a tightly-pulled corset and by electrocution while singing by the microphone stand that had been wired to live electrical wires. Obviously.
CoR correspondent Flora Spoil reveals in an upcoming snippet that a dead vicar is found strapped to a snooker table with a cue ball in his mouth. The rest of the cast follow the formula within a web of lies, lust and intrigue while waiting to get killed in unorthodox ways in the beautiful countryside.
CoR researcher Seth Bailouts understands that O’Sullivan will portray Detective Sergeant Stephen Selby, who seems more interested in his misplaced cue action more than anything else. On the discovery of a landlady impaled by a snooker cue and covered in chalk for some odd reason, a dismissive Ronnie is quoted, “it’s all about the cue action,” much to DCI Barnaby’s vexation.
