Hello, and welcome to Cluster of Reds Snooker Blog!
About Cluster of Reds Snooker Blog
I’ve been writing this blog since October 2016, where my original logo is below! I’ve been writing snooker topics, controversies, countdowns, interviews and previews. I keep track on the rankings, the venues, the players and various other talking points.
I have also contributed to The Sportsman, Snooker Hub and was a frequent contributor to SnookerHQ’s Player of the Month feature. I also featured twice in The Chalk, the new cue sport online magazine.
I’ve written a series of articles on Women’s Snooker and recently constructed a countdown on the Top 30 Most Memorable Moments in Snooker.
I have also interviewed a number of people within the snooker world, including professionals, female players, hot prospects and even one virtual snooker player! I host #snookergifsunday, where post a compilation of GIFs on my Twitter page on a particular player every other Sunday, I post a compilation of GIFs on my Twitter page on a particular player. Any more requests, please tweet me here!
About Me
I have been watching snooker avidly since the 2011 World Championships. My favourite player is Judd Trump because of his brand of ‘naughty snooker’ and playing through that tournament as an underdog and I’ve supported him ever since.
My first live match was the 2015 Welsh Open final between John Higgins and Ben Woollaston in Cardiff. Since then, I’ve travelled to Alexandra Palace, Cheltenham, Crawley, Watford and of course the Crucible in Sheffield.
As well as snooker, I also play goalkeeper for a field hockey team and support Swindon Town Football Club. I love travelling, Monty Python and adore puns.
